nebraskan-N-texas
Guys and Gals: I have been going over our senior class and trying to determine who is going to be a big loss for next year. On this page, I have posted a complete list of seniors stating my opinion on who could be a huge loss for us and who also is just a middle of the road player that did contribute, but can easily be replaced next year. I would like for the board to look over the list and compare my thoughts to yours. The way I look at this list, we are losing a few key players, but most can be replaced without a problem. Please give your opinion. 1 Bowman, Zackary CB 6-2 200 Sr. Big Loss 40 Brandenburgh, Lance LB 6-1 230 Sr. Big Loss 59 Byford, Brett C 6-3 300 Sr. Middle of the road 46 Eisenhart, Ben S 5-11 200 Sr. Middle of the road 26 Erickson, Dan WR 6-1 195 Sr. No big loss 30 Green, Tierre S 6-1 200 Sr. Middle of the road 2 Grixby, Cortney CB 5-9 170 Sr. Middle of the road 75 Haines, Victory OL 6-7 290 Sr. Who? 7 Hardy, Frantz WR 6-1 190 Sr. No Big Loss 86 Hill, Sean TE 6-3 250 Sr. Middle of the road 96 Johnson, Brandon DL 6-3 315 Sr. Who? 25 Jones, Andre CB 6-0 190 Sr. No Big loss 9 Keller, Sam QB 6-4 230 Sr. Middle of the road 19 Kester, Tyler CB 6-1 205 Sr. Who? 13 McKeon, Corey LB 6-1 225 Sr. Middle of the road 81 Mueller, Josh TE 6-5 265 Sr. Big loss 77 Nicks, Carl OL 6-5 330 Sr. No big loss 83 Nunn, Terrence WR 6-0 190 Sr. Middle of the road 15 Octavien, Steve LB 6-0 240 Sr. Big loss 85 Phillips, J.B. zoogs
I would upgrade Grix to BIG LOSS...no joke, overall our corners are definitely a big loss, and Grix has leadership and heart. The fact that we're losing him, Bowman, and Jones will hurt. Also, Carl Nicks deserves more than 'no big loss' IMO. Also, Ruud's a big loss. He was well-respected by his teammates and like it or not, came up with some key plays that helped us win some games. Quote Link to comment
Landlord
Yeah....two tight ends that have seen limited action and haven't caught passes all year (at least to the best of my knowledge) are HUMONGOUS losses. =/ Quote Link to comment
freemason9
These will be missed: 40 Brandenburgh, Lance LB 6-1 230 Sr. Big Loss Worked hard, despite a difficult environment on defense, and having to work with Ruud. 46 Eisenhart, Ben S 5-11 200 Sr. Middle of the road He came in and performed when he was needed. Did not pout. 2 Grixby, Cortney CB 5-9 170 Sr. Middle of the road Hardest worker on the team. 83 Nunn, Terrence WR 6-0 190 Sr. Middle of the road Dazzling at times! 15 Octavien, Steve LB 6-0 240 Sr. Big loss Not that big of a loss, though. He slacked off in the four games prior to K-State, but he finally showed up for that one. A pouter. 16 Purify, Maurice WR 6-4 220 Sr. Big loss Huge loss. Too bad he didn't have one more season. All in all, though, it is a wonderful thing that this class will be gone. Quote Link to comment

Might not have been the best, but I think we'll miss them more than we think. Like Stewart Bradley for instance... I think we really missed him this year. Quote Link to comment
dbetz23
Josh Mueller a big loss? Quote Link to comment
