HuskerExpat
I don't think the players need to know too much about the coaching search right now. Maybe just some words of encouragement or something, but nothing specific. What would telling them everything accomplish? I didn't say telling them everything would be a good idea. In fact, I think it will be more of a feel good meeting. A little information, and a lot of reassurance. That is what is needed. Quote Link to comment
junior4949
I know some of the kids on the team. I'll try and get an update from them this evening. From what I've heard is the new HC will be named in this meeting, w/a PC to introduce the new HC tomorrow. I don't have a link, however I have connections to some high level boosters who were at these interviews. Why would booster be at the interviews? Did they applaud when they liked the answers given and boo when they did'nt? Well, the plane flying all over the country is owned by Norfolk Iron and Metal. Wasn't it stated last night that some big booster flew down to Atlanta? I have a feeling big boosters have been involved in quite a few things the past month or two. Quote Link to comment

They have quite a bit of pull in who should be coaching and who not. As I said, I'll try and get in contact w/the kids I know on the team this evening and post it here if I get confirmation from them that they have been told who the new HC will be.
