I received a great book for Christmas two years ago "hot off the press" and I still use it regularly today and is usually in my briefcase as I travel the Midwest on business. Sorry if this has been discussed in the past but I tried to search the board and didn't find references.

 

A Game Day Guide to Towns of the Big 12 - Author Susan Kraus...I've been to each city in the Big XII on business or to watch a sporting event (except Lubbock) and I tend to agree with the author on a lot of her recommendations. It's a fun read and ‘must have’ for travelers or sports fans going on 'road trips'.
