kramer
Also Monday, the Cornhuskers waited for word on a possible transfer. Former West Virginia defensive back Michael Meggett has contacted Nebraska but is weighing whether he wants to sit a year or play Division I-AA, his high school coach, Vincent Laino, said. "I'm anxious to sit and talk with him," said Laino, the coach at Fort Hamilton in Brooklyn. "It's a tough time. He has to make a big decision that will impact his future." Meggett suffered a knee injury last year and left West Virginia after frustrations over playing time. He won the Heisman Wingate award in 2002, which, Laino said, goes to the top football player in New York City. He's a childhood friend of Nyan Boateng, a coveted receiver from Brooklyn whom Nebraska is hotly wooing. Quote Link to comment
gamecocks
Hopefully we can get them both as they both fill holes for our team. Quote Link to comment
Eric the Red
At this point I guess any help we can get with Nyan is going to help. Quote Link to comment
