Roxy Posted March 12, 2008 Share Posted March 12, 2008 I have tried to fix the pictures 6 times at least..and am tired and it doesn't work..so sorry...I give up! 2 cups flour 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/4 tsp salt 1-1/4 cup sugar 1-1/4 cup brown sugar 1 cup butter, soft 3 large eggs 1 cup creamy peanut butter 2 tsp pure vanilla Preheat oven to 300* In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. Mix well with wire whisk. Set aside. In a large bowl, blend sugars with electric mixer. Add butter and mix to form a grainy paste, scraping sides of bowl. Add eggs, peanut butter and vanilla. Mix until light and fluffy. Add flour and mix on low until just mixed. DO NOT OVER MIX. Drop on ungreased cookie sheet 1-1/2" apart. With wet fork, gently press a crisscross on top. Bake 18-22 minutes. Transfer immediately to a wire rack to cool. Quote Link to comment

When he was little and my Mom & Dad came to visit, he asked Grandma one day if she'd make him some "fork cookies". Grandma had the hardest time trying to figure out what he meant.
