yea I sure know this team has surprised me

here is what they say about the weekend series- http://collegebaseball.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=790602

NO. 16 NEBRASKA AT NO. 12 TEXAS

When: Friday, 3 p.m., Saturday, 6 p.m., Sunday, 1 p.m.

Why you should watch: Besides Texas and Missouri, there's not a better team in the Big 12 than red-hot Nebraska. Though some tend to think the Longhorns have an edge at home, the Huskers have experienced success in Austin, Texas, in the past. Still, the Huskers must continue their consistent ways this weekend to have a chance in this series. Texas, meanwhile, just needs to be consistent on the mound.

The buzz: Something must give when the Huskers and Longhorns take the field this weekend. Nebraska enters the weekend with an impressive 2.68 team ERA, while Texas enters the weekend with a 3.97 ERA. Though Nebraska has the edge on the mound, Texas has the clear edge at the plate. The Longhorns are hitting .326 as a team, while Nebraska is hitting .294. The teams are evenly matched.

Spotlight players: Nebraska has key offensive contributors such as Mitch Abeita and Bryce Nimmo, but the most impressive part of this team is the pitching staff. Senior right-hander Johnny Dorn leads the staff, while newcomer Aaron Pribanic has been a pleasant surprise. Dorn is 2-0 with a 1.57 ERA in 34 1/3 innings of work. He has also struck out 37 and walked eight, while opponents are hitting him at a .197 clip. Pribanic is 2-0 with a 1.44 ERA in 31 1/3 innings of work. While Dorn and Pribanic lead the Husker charge, Texas newcomers Cameron Rupp and Brandon Belt are two of the nation's best hitters. Rupp – a freshman – is hitting .406 with three homers and 21 RBIS, while Belt is hitting .357 with four homers and 35 RBIs. Veteran outfielder Jordan Danks is another player to watch, while All-American Kyle Russell (.228, 1, 7) hopes to have a breakout weekend.
