Roxy
I made the best hamburgers last night...the recipe called for the grill, but, I wasn't feeling very good so I fried them. I used a little more of the ingredients that are listed because my pkg. of hamburger was 1.45 lbs. 1 lb.. lean hamburger 1 T. Worcestershire Sauce 1 T. liquid smoke 1 T. garlic powder 1 T. olive oil Seasoned Salt to taste Preheat grill to high heat. In a medium bowl, lightly mix together the ground beef, Worcestershire Sauce, liquid smoke & garlic powder. Form into 3 patties. I brushed some olive oil over the top of the burgers and brushed them again with olive oil after I flipped them and seasoned with seasoned salt. I didn't have liquid smoke so I used 2 T. Worcestershire Sauce. I made Paula Deen's Sauce for hamburgers and it is so good. Paula Deen's Sauce For Hamburgers: 1 cup mayonnaise 1/2 cup yellow mustard 1/4 cup ketchup Hot Sauce-Used Franks Hot Sauce 2 T. finely chopped pickled jalapenos-used more because I like hot & spicy food *I used Deli-Sliced Jalapeno Peppers Stir all ingredients together until well blended & refrigerate. *I like cheese so melted some cheese on my hamburgers a minute or so before the hamburgers were done and I fried some sliced onions in olive oil to top off the burgers. To make them bigger..add fried bacon, tomatoes, lettuce. pickles or whatever you like. Quote Link to comment
