Taylor is one of the premier football players in the country. Already as of early March, every major college is after him. Reminds everyone of Reggie Smith with his versatility and athletism. His father is a Washington alum. Odds of becoming a Cornhusker: 2% The Huskers have had some pretty damn well in the Northwest. Why not Mays????? It’s going to take everything to get this kid. kramer
His father played 10+ years in NFL, and is a Microsoft Exec. His mother told me that Taylor has dreamed of playing for Nebraska ever since they attended the Husker/UW game in Lincoln a few years ago (55-7 Husker win). 1st post. Quote Link to comment
Eric the Red
Rivals just did an article on Mays and he sure doesn't sound like a lock by any stretch. He does mention Nebraska but USC appears to be the early leader. Quote Link to comment
Eric the Red
I'm bumping his percentage up. I'm reading stuff in the newspapers that says he loves the Huskers. But I don't expect a decision from him for quite sometime. Quote Link to comment
kramer
Two positions we came up short on in 2005 that we are going hard after in 2006 are Safety and Offensive Tackle. Taylor Mays would be a perfect fit at Safety. And if we could get Omaha OT D.J. Jones to stay in-state, we would be off to a great start on our 2006 class. Quote Link to comment
kramer
With Fabian Washington, Daniel Bullocks and Lornell McPherson, Mays services would be welcomed and playing time would be no problem. Quote Link to comment
Eric the Red
He benches 300 squats over 500 Vertical over 3' Plus his GPA is over a 3.0 Quote Link to comment
Eric the Red
This kid has got a great head on his shoulders. He's very smart and he's going to be very methodical about his decision. The Huskers are in the game, we got a shot. Quote Link to comment
StuckinChicago
I cant wait until this kid comes on an official visit. From the video i have seen of him and the measurables, this guy could be the best safety in college football very quickly, and he grew up a husker fan. Man this kid can hit, he can run, he can do it all. When he comes, you better believe I will be sitting in the student section leading the chant, Tay-Lor Mays! Quote Link to comment

Everything about him puts him on another level. He could play college football this year. Quote Link to comment
Eric the Red
He wants to play safety in college, but people feel he may grow out of it, hence a move to OLB. This kid is an easy 5 star Quote Link to comment
StuckinChicago
Taylor Mays has now said that he will make an early decision, and that he will decide before the start of his senior season. Quote Link to comment
