What the problem seems to be is that the team has no confidence. I dont know what bill callahan did to ruin the Nebraska image. I was watching a video on youtube of Jason Peter, and before this game the whole defense was in a huddle and he says "remember one f@cking thing we are nerbaska". Where is the leadership, where are the play makers. the players they just don't understand what they are suppose to do.

I think this IS Nebraska. These kids don't know what it's like to win they haven't experienced it. I heard Jason Peter say the further you get away from your winning years the tougher it is to get back there because you don't have anyone on the team that remembers or is hungry to get back to what that felt like.

 

This is the Nebraska these kids know. They can tell 'em until they're blue in the face about the tradition and the Blackshirts and the Heismans and Outlands and all of that but these kids need to win.
