teamster Posted January 26, 2009 Share Posted January 26, 2009 University of Nebraska wrestling alumnus, Jason High, was on the card for Saturday nights ppv Affliction mma fights in California. His was a nontelevised swing-fight after the main event. He experienced his first mma loss to IFL veteran, Jay Hieron. Jason High was paid $10,000 for his efforts. Jason is a current Victory Fighting Championship(Council Bluffs) belt holder. He had relocated to Vegas and then California, to further his career in mma. The LJS did a story on Lincoln area mma fighters a couple years ago featuring Nebraska native and current VFC middleweight champion, Darin Brudigan.
