rawhide Posted February 7, 2009 Author Share Posted February 7, 2009 It's the real deal on the left coast with "authentic mexican restaurants" (meaning not a chain restaurant) more of the mom & pop variety. Very tender meat kinda similar to veal. Gonna talk with a buddy I used to work with; he's from Guadalajara and his dad cooks that and pesole and menudo(not for me). His mom makes killer tamales too.
