Roxy
Can't get in to see the dr. until Monday..so now have to decide if I am up to spending 8 hours in the ER room! Quote Link to comment
bennychico11
do you have any walk-in clinics around you? amazingly they are faster than the so called "emergency" rooms. I went in one morning for a bad sprained ankle to get it x-rayed and I waited 10 minutes tops...and that was at a family care clinic. Also, look at the CVS/Walgreens walk in clinics. You can see someone about the pain and get your pain pills all in one trip!! plus the walk-ins you'll probably only have to pay a co-pay. Emergency room costs are insane. Quote Link to comment
bennychico11
I don't get it...is this some kind of a pop culture reference? Yeah, it is. House! Quote Link to comment
rawhide
Unfortunately, ER's have become the waiting room for the only healthcare available for many people. Hence the long wait and having to be triaged and prioritized. Please understand that colds/flu, sore throats and such may have to wait for car accident victims, stroke patients and MI's, etc. Quote Link to comment
