Aug 21 - Meet Trev Alberts, Tommie Frazier - & Donate to a Great Cause!

Hey guys,

I hope many of you will attend this event to support other Omahans in need. My Dad is helping to organize a fundraiser for the Salvation Army nightwatch program he volunteers for, and also the Omaha Firefighters Memorial. These are 2 very important causes for our local community, and he asked if I would share the word with our Huskerboard community.

He has arranged for Trev Alberts & Tommie Frazier to be at the event for a "meet & greet", and there will also be Husker memorabilia at the silent auction, so I know this will be of interest to a lot of you.

 

To help the cause, Im willing to give a free t-shirt to the first 50 Huskerboard members who purchase a pass to this event. They are also very much in need of donations to help the auction generate some money. I'm sure there are plenty of season ticket holders who have at least one game they can't make this season - that would be an easy and excellent donation for this great cause. Or any type of memorabilia or gift certificate would also be greatly appreciated. Please email your offer to me so I can make sure there is a need for that item. If an item is accepted, I will give each donor another free t-shirt.
