Igetbored216 Posted September 2, 2009 Share Posted September 2, 2009 Not sure if too many people care about this, but Cox Cable has reached a deal to include the Big 10 Network as a choice Linkage OMAHA (KPTM) - Iowa football fans and local fans of other Big 10 teams can rejoice. Cox Cable in Omaha says it has reached a deal with the Big 10 Network to provide that channel. Cox Cable officials tell KPTM FOX 42 News that an agreement will be finalized Thursday, which means the channel should be available starting the same day, just in time for the first week of college football games. Cox will launch the Big Ten Network on channel 233. In addition, Big Ten Network HD will be available on channel 750. The Iowa Hawkeyes will be the primary feed in the Omaha market. When more than one game is being carried on Big Ten Network, Cox customers can tune in to channels 615 thru 618 to watch other match-ups. This weekend's games on Big Ten Network include: 11A CT Northern Iowa at Iowa 233 / 750 (HD) 11A CT Akron at Penn State 615 11A CT Montana State at Michigan State 616 11A CT Towson at Northwestern 617 11A CT Toledo at Purdue 618 6P CT Northern Illinois at Wisconsin 233 / 750 (HD) Quote Link to comment
