kjp55
No matter how you call the game against Va Tech, there was, except for a few offensive players and the defense on the field yesterday, no 'fire in the gut' attitude displayed. As bad as Va Tech played, the Huskers played just as bad, or worse. You can place the blame on several factors....the coaching staff, the players....but it all comes down to not getting the job done. All I can say is that there are hundreds of players out there who would love the opportunity to be a starter on the Nebraska Cornhuskers team. If these guys don't want to take the opportunity they have been given seriously, then maybe they should give some players who really have that 'killer instinct' and dedication a chance. Some of the offense, particularly Helu, and some of the OL had the fire in the gut. Defense pretty much had it for 58 min. Suh showed it after VaTech picked off the pass. He almost body slammed Taylor to the ground. Quote Link to comment
lilred
Agreed, Helu and Suh showed the "killer instinct" Quote Link to comment
Vince from ShamWOW
I watched Miami pop GT in the mouth time after time the other night. What NU lacks is flying around and popping the snot out of their opponents. Quote Link to comment
