HuskerfaninOkieland
CFN.com Richard Cirminiello's comments on Suh: Hey, at least there was Suh before things got interesting in the fourth quarter. On an otherwise miserable night for fans, both in attendance and at home, Nebraska DT Ndamukong Suh was the best reason to stay committed to an extremely sloppy game that took until the final 15 minutes to develop a following. Suh is more than just one of the top interior linemen in the country and a high NFL draft choice next April. He’s an anomaly in the sport, that rare athlete, who has the athleticism and immense strength to toy with opposing blockers and change the pulse of a game. He did that countless times Thursday night at Missouri, commanding multiple blockers, harassing Tiger QB Blaine Gabbert, and hunting down ballcarriers from behind. At 6-4 and 300 pounds, he does things defensive tackles shouldn’t be doing, like dropping back into coverage and making tide-turning picks. There’s a name for players with Suh’s unique all-around skill set. They’re called All-Americans. If you moved on to some other form of entertainment when Mizzou was leading 12-0 toward the end of the third quarter, no one can blame you. This one took longer to get started than a jalopy. However, you missed a stirring rally from the Huskers and another 60-minute effort from Suh, one of a small handful of defensive players worth spotlighting whenever he’s on the field. Husker Runner
Nice. A lot of football fans turned this one off before the fourth quarter, based on a couple of other message boards (for other schools) I follow. Too bad they missed the fourth quarter onslaught. Quote Link to comment
SOCALHUSKER
It's good to see Suh, and the Huskers for that matter, get some positive pub. Quote Link to comment
mattbri17
I love the national coverage we're getting. More so on the 4th qtr comeback rather than the first 45 minutes. Quote Link to comment
Fuzzy
Watching the game again on ESPN360.com Catching a good amount of stuff that i didnt see at first. 1st. possesion, 3rd and 13, Lee passes to Niles, but you can see Gilleylen in the back he has the inside on his defender, If Lee had put it out there a past Niles Gilleylen couldve caught and turned upfield. 2nd. possession, the holding call on Niles, there was no holding, Niles did a great job pushing the corner back and shoving him out of bounds. I See Red People
Suh is having his way with whoever he lines up against. This is also making the guys around him better. Quote Link to comment
HuskerTrucker
It is too bad that Suh didn't come into the program just as Bo took over, I bet he would even be better than he is (if that is really possible). Really wish we had him for at least one more year...damn! Quote Link to comment
Army Husker
I love the national coverage we're getting. More so on the 4th qtr comeback rather than the first 45 minutes. I gotta admit. Had the day off and saw/heard reference to us on CNN(weather of all things), Fox News and all day on ESPN and FSN. It hasn't hurt at all and is refreshing for a change! Quote Link to comment
