NoDoubt
Flame me as much as you want but the statement "Lee didn't lose us this game" may be true but the fact is he's not winning us any games either. Somewhere there needs to be a leader step up. Are we goiong to even become bowl eligible? Trust me, I've been calling for Green since Lee's grinning eyebrow wave in Columbia. I just dont know how many losses it will take before they give him a shot. Quote Link to comment
Roger Craig
We had a blackshirt squad, how about a panty waist offense squad. Quote Link to comment
NoDoubt
I know you can not blame todays loss on Lee, but there is something indescribably wrong with our offense. Maybe it's attitude. Did you see Robinson beating his chest and stomping at the ISU sidelines after a couple of 5-7 yard runs...then two plays later he fumbles. If a true freshman is cocky enough to pull that sh*t in his first game ever there must be a lack of discipline on offense. I have mentioned this in another post last week. THIS NONSENSE HAS TO STOP. Coaches need to end it now. These players that make a big commotion after a 5 yard catch or run...this is pathetic. Look at the F'n Scoreboard! I would absolutely not tolerate that as a coach. If I was Bo and I saw ANYONE on offense beating their chest like that i would grab him by the facemask and bench him for the game. Its a team sport. Watch Helu, that's how you act after a play. How dare they show any emotion. TTech was doing the same thing when they were kicking our butts. Most winning teams do. There is nothing wrong with getting pumped and trying to get your teammates pumped up after a play. These guys are emotionally invested and are letting it out. It doesn't show lack of discipline. There is a big difference between celebrating with your team a beating your chest like Deon...ESPECIALLY when you are part of one of the worst offenses in college football. Quote Link to comment
TK34
There is a big difference between celebrating with your team a beating your chest like Deon...ESPECIALLY when you are part of one of the worst offenses in college football. Robinson is a year out of high school, getting his first carries in Memorial Stadium. I'm going to cut him some slack if he gets excited, even if it is after only a 5 yard gain. He didn't know he was going to fumble on the next play and I'm sure he wasn't trying to. Different players play best at different intensity levels. Helu seems like a calm dude, so it fits that he doesn't celebrate too much. Seems to work for him. Other guys need to get the adrenaline flowing and feed off of it. The bottom line is that we are all pissed that they lost and the offense looked so bad. If they had pulled out a 10 - 9 win, no one would be complaining about a true freshman getting pumped after his first college carry. Quote Link to comment
