Nexus
For the sake of perspective, here are Alabama's 2009 offensive rankings. The numbers in red parentheses are Nebraska's 2009 offensive rankings. #12 in Rushing Offense (#62) #92 in Passing Offense (#101) #42 in Total Offense (#99) #22 in Scoring Offense (#75) #5 in Interceptions Thrown (#51) #34 in Passing Efficiency (#79) #15 in Fumbles Lost (#60) #3 in Turnovers Lost (#57) #24 in Tackles For Loss Allowed (#30) #36 in Sacks Allowed (#31) #42 in First Downs (#111) #62 in 3rd Down Conversions (#69) #28 in 4th Down Conversions (#24) #29 in Red Zone Efficiency (#69) #5 in Time Of Possession (#47) Judging by the rankings, Bama was a very good ball control + power running offense with very few mistakes and ate up a lot of clock in the process. They played smart football. They weren't world beaters but they didn't have to be because they had a stout defense. Quote Link to comment

Heh....the difference between us in "rushing offense" and "total offense" is the Grand Canyon. But Bo/TO know that simply has to change. Those two know how to get things done too. melscott62
i think baker + tons of d line depth + more experience under pelini + ball control offense can make up for losing suh Quote Link to comment
Hunter94
as we all know, the offense (Watson's and Cotton's kids) have to get much better, they HAVE to carry some of the load for this team to get better. Quote Link to comment
