NCAA denies Masoli's waiver

Recommended Posts

What is irritating here is that the intent of the rule is to reward student-athletes who have graduated and want to pursue an advanced degree - but the school from which they graduated and for which they played does not offer the advanced degree they wish to pursue. In other words, it isn't designed as an "out" for troubled athletes - but that's precisely what the NCAA has done.
