WashingtonRed
I must retract my previous statement. I plead ignorance as I had not seen Martinez play in person before and had relied on Nebraska Radio. Martinez and Locker aren't even in the same ballpark. Martinez wins by a mile. California Husker
40 times remain THE MOST EXAGERATED statistic in college football. Hell, every rb, qb, wr, db, and lb in the state of Florida runs a sub 4.3 if you listen to the hype. Remember, EC ran a 4.45 and was always just about the fastest guy on the field. So, maybe Locker runs a 4.6 (which is fast), but he does not run a 4.3 and maybe T-majic runs a 4.46 or 4.48 or something like that, but in my opinion he is NOT faster than Crouch. But 4.46 is freakin fast. Not everyone can be a true 4.3 guy. They are very few and far between. But that doesn't keep coaches and media people from saying they all run 4.3's. Bottom line, take all 40 times with a grain of salt unless they are electronically timed by someone who is indipendent...like in the NFL combines. Quote Link to comment
