roadtoTDAmerPark
Yost is looking a little shaky against SDSU. He does start the year slow tho. Need to make sure we look good on this day. 6 to 2 on a bac in the bottom of the 6th Quote Link to comment
HuskerHacker
Cooper's mental error is an example of what we can't have. Pitching is rarely as sharp in midweek games. Tomorrow night's game against KSU will be a test and is a must win as well. Quote Link to comment

HuskerHacker
Everyone has mental lapses... not pointing specifically at Coop.. (yes, he deserves a break) but... in conference play it is mistakes like that which can decide the outcome of a game. I'm sure though, after having faced UCLA and Fresno State the team and hitters probably came into this game with a little less focus. Hopefully tomorrow they have their heads screwed on and are ready to make a statement. We will have to score some runs in tomorrow's game to win. Quote Link to comment
husker_hurdler
What is the reasoning behind the mid-week non-confernece game with K-State? Quote Link to comment
roadtoTDAmerPark
According to the Journal Star Anderson wants to have non-conference games with them next season and they are already scheduled. We do need some strong non-conference foes with the sweet line up of tough Big 10 baseball teams we are going to face. Is K State a tough non-conference team....prob not. Quote Link to comment
corncraze
Big Ten baseball is a step below the Big 12. Lets be honest ok. We should dominate that conference in baseball. Quote Link to comment
roadtoTDAmerPark
Yes we should and maybe we can help improve our new conference in baseball...but beating up on weak teams is not going to make us good. I strongly think that playing tough teams will make us better than playing a load of gimmie games. Quote Link to comment
