Today coach Bo was quoted saying “That would be the best thing that could happen to college football, and probably college basketball and college athletics in general,” Pelini said. “That’s my opinion. I think that would be a tremendous move. I don’t know if there’s a lot of momentum for that.”

 

saying that it will give the student atheletes time to mature academically and phyically.

 

I for one would love to see this in college football and basketball. These kids make a lot of their major decisions at such a young age without having been able to experience college/life/growing up.

 

What say you huskernation?
