n.e.husker
During his 13-year professional career, former Husker Cory Schlesinger occasionally crossed paths with a few players who purposely ignored their fame, and the responsibilities that came with it. The bruising fullback had a message for them: "You had better quit the job then. Because you are a role model, like it or not." Even when the pads, helmet and uniform come off, someone is always watching. "You've got to be really careful with what you do," Schlesinger said. That will be one of the bullet points in Schlesinger's presentation to the NU football team Thursday. He's one of several speakers set to address the Huskers as they prepare to start preseason camp. http://www.omaha.com/article/20110803/BIGRED/708039758/-1#two-days-of-advice-awaiting-huskers Quote Link to comment
