"Let 'em score" end of game strategy (Ole Miss vs LSU)

Watched the end of the LSU-Ole Miss game. LSU had the ball deep with the score tied and could run the clock down to a FG if they wanted. Gary Danielson suggests Ole Miss let them score, as if a FG is automatic. He doesn't let up and says "Turnover or getting the ball back after a TD is their only chance." Still no mention that a FG could be missed. LSU does score...and missed the PAT on a botched snap or hold. I was laughing too hard and missed with Genius Gary had to say about that. Ole Miss went nowhere in the few seconds they had left when they got the ball back.
