HuskerHacker
Perfect Game posted their "free" projected finish however, to read the entire review one needs to purchase the college ticket package ($7.95 mthly.) I can't go into detail about the review obviously but I will state that it says the top 4 programs are very close in talent and any of the 4 may have a break out season. BTW.. I really enjoy perfect game's insight and highly recommend it to those who can afford it. A summary of the reviews top 4: Indiana: favored to win the B1G high praise for the top two pitchers (fri and sat starters) high number of returning starters must replace the closer Ohio St: talent everywhere could make a run deep into the post season the entire weekend rotation returning with impressive bullpen improved offensive Michigan St: Very good 1, 2 punch for the weekend rotation Have some offensive holes to fill Also have to replace their top pitcher from a year ago Nebraska: Solid returning pitching staff Should have top B1G offensive team returning Very difficult schedule to overcome In all, not a highly positive review Quote Link to comment
bravesfanatic4
Perfect Game has not been very high on us for some reason. I'm not sure why. Quote Link to comment
wiuhusker
Are they referring to our non conference schedule as the part that will be hard to overcome? Conference schedules are going to be basically the same unless we don't play every team. Only thing i remember from last years team was a young/inexperienced pitching staff and a very good offense. Hopefully the staff as a whole has grown and will perform well this year. A huge key to any baseball team is pitching and if we can get outs Nebraska could have a very solid year. flatwaterfan
I can understand where they put us because it's all about pitching and ours don't blow people away. Having said that if they pitch per the philosophy we should do well. I may be doing him a disservice but I see Kendall Rogers did the review and I don't think he's been all that kind to Nebraska through the years. He's from Texas I believe and was an aggie alum I believe. Quote Link to comment
