Roy CO HSKR
By the time the Spring Fling rolls around, what changes will have been addressed by the staff regarding our weak areas this season? Defensive Backfield: It seems to me that Grixby and Green were marginal playmakers in that backfield this year. Bullocks, Tiedtke and Bowman seemed to be the stong ones back there. Who could be that 4th top notch player? Shanley/Jackson/Brothers? Offensive Line: The tackles are just green. But, is there depth for them and the guards. Who can help? We need quality backups to rotate. Who do we have - Huff? TEs: Phillips was an average playmaker, especially on routes. Herian will be back. Who else can help- Mueller? We lose Ross, Koch, Adams, Smith, Bullocks, Tiedtke, Ickes and Koch(P) who started in the bowl game. Seven out of 24 positions is not bad at all! Ickes was playing for an injured starter, to boot. Who will be in line as a punter? Does Titchener have promise? Quote Link to comment
Hunter94
the D secondary is my concern.....Grix just can't seem to turn and look for the ball.....he got burned for a TD against MU and it would have been 2 except for the safety played CYA on another play.......the linebackers will be our strength...... hunter Quote Link to comment
CoachKevin
Priority in recruiting #1 OL's #2 DB's #3 WR's and a good punter would be a nice bonus. Quote Link to comment
pigsonthewing
1. Offensive Line. 2. Defensive Backfield. 3. Defensive Line. Quote Link to comment
