victors valiant
Although Michigan is in the Big 10, I think the strongest hoop conference is the ACC although some say the Big 10. The ACC has always won the ACC - Big 10 Challenge so that's what I base it on. No offense, but in the midwest the Big 12 isn't looked on as being a strong conference. What are the opinions in your neck of the woods? Quote Link to comment
Silent Commit
Dammit, I'm going to have to agree with you. The ACC looks tough this year...BIG TEN looks tough, too - though no one really has played anyone yet. Most conference play has just started. Too early to tell. BIG TWELVE looks weak without a dominate Kansas. How do you think Michigan will do in the BIG TEN this year. Anyone going to be ILLINOIS? Quote Link to comment
victors valiant
I doubt it, unless there is an upset which always happens. Michigan is questionable. We haven't beaten a big team yet Quote Link to comment
huskerstag
It seems most of the major conferences have at least 2 dominant teams. I really haven't payed much attention to bball yet, but it seems outside of maybe UT, there isn't another really good team in the big XII this year, maybe OU. The ACC seems to be awfully tough all the way through, but I don't see any teams being as dominant this year as we saw in UNC and Illinois and even BC last year. ACC is probably the toughest conference, but I'd be surprised if the Natl. Champs came from there. Quote Link to comment
