I'd like to thank folks that I met last year that have sent email regarding the loss of Bo Schembechler on Friday. We have a memorial board if you would like to stop by. Well Michigan and Nebraska made it into the NIT. I think that there are quite a few good teams in the NIT. I've talked with alot of different folks who think the the NCAA selections committee is really getting worse each year. I don't know how they selected some of the teams they did and the seeds as well. I think the NCAA selection committee would be better served if they were given a full day after all the tournaments were completed before making selections. Who determines who will be on the selection committee anyway? I think the NCAA has grown into a corrupt system that has no accountability and absolute power without accountability is corrupt power. You guys have a tough bracket if you make it to Maryland. We have to get by Notre Dame and then Maryland. Of course I'm not making any conclusions that we'll make it past the first round but I'm hoping. Later dudes and dudettes.

I doubt it, unless there is an upset which always happens. Michigan is questionable. We haven't beaten a big team yet

Although Michigan is in the Big 10, I think the strongest hoop conference is the ACC although some say the Big 10. The ACC has always won the ACC - Big 10 Challenge so that's what I base it on. No offense, but in the midwest the Big 12 isn't looked on as being a strong conference. What are the opinions in your neck of the woods?

Couple of things I'd like to ask - 1. Strongest Conference in 2005 ? I have to go with Big 10, final ranking PSU - 3rd : OSU 4th 2. Not to put FSU down, as they gave PSU a great game but how did a team 8 - 4 get into a bowl against a team that was 10 - 1? Purely ticket sales? Don't you think a team with better record should have played Penn State. My board is pretty quiet (we're new and don't have very many members yet)

Greetings again Huskers ! Hope you all had a happy Holiday. My look on a few games _ PSU vs FSU and Texas vs USC ) I thought these 2 bowls were by far the best. Not taking anything away from Nebraska, I thought that the games played with much more intensity were in the Orange and Rose Bowl rather than in the Alamo Bowl. I just sensed a more charged atmosphere in those two games. Does anybody else notice that or am I just pouting still Any thoughts ? Cheers Michigan Project

I wanted to stop by and wish my congratulations on your Nebraska victory. The Huskers really played a great game. You deserved the win. Your program will be back on track next year. Congratulations once again. P.S. I have enjoyed my visits here. You have a great bunch of fans. I have found another NU board to be very cold and even a bit harsh but the folks here have been very cordial and knowledgeable. Thanks for the hospitality.

for what its worth from a Michigan perspective I hear Ohio State fan horror stories. Michigan fans vehicles get smashed. Michigan State fans are the most unknowledgable and envious of any fans in the country. They can be profane. I know that one game fans were wearing "Muck Fichigan" tee shirts. Sure it sounds funny, but to many parents with kids at the game, didn't make a good impression. from a Wolverine point of view.

Greetings from Michigan! I'm looking forward to the game against the Huskers and at the same time a little nervous. I am hoping that Michigan will be up for the contest. We flopped miserably against Ohio State but with our 7 - 4 record hopefully we'll be able to make a good game out of this. We should be at 100% as far as I know. I play chess with a couple guys that are Husker fans and they are good guys and aren't quite sure how NU will matchup with Michigan.
