Redout
Can't help but think that the Huskers open up their season in less than two weeks. Feb. 21 the Huskers open against New Mexico at 3:30 and then play Northwestern. Two "W" if I have ever seen. Duensing has been throwing and should be ready for the season. Gordan is going to have a lites out year. He is only a soph this year, so we'll have him threw next year. Look for him to get All big 12 honors this year. As with any college team, it all depends on the pitching. Quote Link to comment
Redout
The Huskers wrapped up their off-season conditioning program this week and begin practice for the 2004 campaign on Jan. 24. The Huskers finished 2003 with a 47-18 record, winning their second Big 12 regular-season title in three years and finishing the year ranked in the top 15 of all three major polls. The Huskers’ 2004 season opener is Feb. 20, at New Mexico while the home opener is slated for March 16 against Western Illinois. Season-ticket packages are available on Huskers.com. Eric the Red
True......I don't see a drop off at all with this team. If there is, Husker baseball could be in some serious trouble. Pitcher from Mississippi, I believe will need to have a big year. Quote Link to comment
