Roxy15 Posted September 5, 2014 Share Posted September 5, 2014 Cheesy Grilled Taco Nachos: To Double This Recipe, Just Use The Same Recipe, But In A Second Foil Packet. ***Make It Your Own, By Using Sliced Black Olives/Sliced Jalapenos/Etc. 5 Cups Tortilla Chips 1 lb. Bulk Pork Sausage, Cooked & Drained 1-(4.5-oz.)-Can Chopped Green Chiles, Drained 2 Tsp. Taco Seasoning 2 Roma Tomatoes, Chopped 2 Green Onions, Sliced 2 Cups Finely Shredded Mexican-Blend Cheese Or Colby-Monterey Jack Cheese 5 Cups Tortilla Chips Heat coals or grill for direct heat. Spray a 30x18-in. piece of heavy-duty foil with cooking spray. Spread Tortilla Chips on center of heavy-duty foil. Mix sausage, green chiles and Taco Seasoning Mix together in a medium bowl. Spoon the sausage mixture over the Tortilla Chips. Top with tomatoes and green onions. Sprinkle evenly with your choice of cheese. Wrap heavy-duty foil around the Tortilla Chips and toppings. Cover and grill foil packet, seam side up, 4-6 in. from medium heat for 8-10 minutes, until cheese is melted. Serve with sour cream, salsa and guacamole, if desired. Quote Link to comment
