SECHusker
To me, more than recruiting this really shows the talent we put on the field, because for the past few years we have out recruited both Wisconsin and Iowa. Nebraska-5 players at the combine- average grade of 4.98 Wisconsin- 8 players at the combine- average grade of 5.18 Iowa- 6 players at the combine- average grade of 5.63 Northwestern-2 players at the combine- average grade of 5.4 Purdue -1 player at the combine- grade of 5.4 Illinois -1 player at the combine- grade of 4.9 UCF -4 players at the combine- average grade of 5.3 Bama- 14 players at the combine-average grade of 5.77 *reference point: Saquon Barkley was graded at a 7.4 I'm not saying that the average grade is indicative of how successful a team will be, but it does give insight into how our best players match up with the rest of the country. I don't think we need to match Bama's 14 combine invitees to compete with them, but I do think our star players need to start playing like stars. Thoughts?
