RedCountry
Big time move by the staff and big time cayones. Ross is a sparkplug that will hopefully light a fire under our offense. It seemed that when he was in there at KU even our FB's had more room to roam. I know KU stinks, but I really think that his jitter bug style causes defenses to adjust their pursuit and schemes, and they are a bit off balance when they do see our north/south straight up the gut attack, when our FBs do get the pill. The line looked more effective too. Or maybe that was b/c KU stinks and Ross is a lot better at YAC than Davis/Horne. Either way, this is a great move and proves the coaches are willing to adjust, and arent stubborn. This is a good trait which is an indicator of adaptability, which I have a feeling we'll need to do in the 2nd half this Sat. If Ross isnt effective, we can always run Davis and Horne back out there. Definitely worth the risk. http://www.ledger-enquirer.com/mld/ledgere...rts/7236079.htm GBR Quote Link to comment
