John Butler fired

Also, if they don't want Phil Snow around, Rhule should listen.

I know Rhule loves Snow. And if he wants to keep him around as a mentor, great.

If Snow wants to actually coach, then coach. But we don't need him around telling our DCs what and how to run a defense. That is one of the main reasons between the Rhule/White fallout.

Oregon has the worst high schools in the nation. It's why they dropped grades as a requirement for graduation. So they could pump up their graduation rates.

Eh, it's probably the other way around. Oregon freaked out during COVID, like our local school system did, and gave every student a free pass. Prior to that, Oregon was middle of the pack, with the worst high schools designation regularly falling to New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arizona, Alaska, and Louisiana.

could bo pelini get the job?

Why fire one guy whose defenses were much stronger against passing than rushing only to hire another guy with the same problem?

I'd get rid of Terry Bradden as well. Our d-line play has regressed. We cannot stop the run. I know a lot of that has to do with not having a big nose tackle, but surely we can get someone better than Bradden?

Yeah, if you're gonna fire Butler I can't fathom any reason why you'd keep Bradden around - I would've fired Bradden first.

I mean, universities aren't the ones you should be looking at to fix your literacy rates - that should be handled in grade school.
