Garrison on his O-line: "As times goes on ... I think this is going to be a real special group." Wants more consistency though. #Huskers




Garrison calls Jake Cotton a throwback guy. "He wants to pull and hit somebody." #Huskers




Garrison said Alex Lewis probably knew the offense after just the first week of installation. "He's got a football mind."




Garrison said Mark Pelini can tell him exactly how a defense lined up on each play after each series. Calls Pelini "the human calculator."

Garrison on Knevel: "Two or three yrs we're going to be talking about him a lot." Says he can be "a phenomenal" player. Has to get stronger.




Garrison said Tanner Farmer reported at about 330 pounds. Wants him at 295. He's down to around 303 or so now. #Huskers




Garrison said Farmer is the strongest linemen the #Huskers have. Just wants him to know he doesn't have to bench 600 to be a great linemen.




When asked by vets this summer to give a talk about famous people w/ mustaches, Farmer gave a 30-minute presentation on Roosevelt's mustache




Right off the bat Pelini came up to Garrison, pointed at Jerald Foster and said: "He's a stud."
