So is TO just going to talk to kids who are already commited to make sure they are on board or is he going to talk to kids who decommited? I wouldn't think he would be getting new recruits as that should be the new coaches job and he may not want the kids TO picks. Yeah Yeah I know that TO knows football and would pick good kids but that doesn't mean the new coach will want the same kids. Unless he already knows who the new coach is and they talked about recriuts they would want and TO is going to go talk to them. HMMM!!!!

I think it depends on who you hire. If you get a coach like Rich Rodriguez or Urban Meyer I think you expect more from them because they are already established coaches. Some one who has never been a head coach or is from a small college will probably be given more time. I think a minimum of 4 years and a max of 6. It will also depend on what has been happening in those years. If he starts out 12-1 next year expectations will soar for the future. If he starts a little slower, say 7-5 next year and then 8-4 or 9-3 the next he will be given more time. But he would have to continue to go at least 9-3 or better or there will be moaning. Also not get blown out every loss. I think if a coach goes 5-7 and loses all 3 games by 5 points or less there would be a lot less complaining then getting beat by 20-30 points every loss. There are more factors then just playing for conference or national championships. Like being competitive.

I visit about 6 different boards and there are very few that still support BC. Maybe 1-2% of the posters support him or someone on his staff.

Yeah he should just be a good sheep and fall into line to drink the kool-aid. No one should ever bash a Husker coach. What the heck are they thinking? Most of the people I hear say this were the first ones to complain about Solich. Dont know or care if you were one of them, just saying most of the people who say not to complain or be patient with this staff were some of the first and loudest to complain about Frank.

I think it depends on who is hired as the new coach. If it is Bo then it will depend on if he wants to stay on at LSU for their bowl game. If it is someone whos team isn't going bowling then they may come in and get a start with their new team (it has been done in lots of other places.). If the new coach is Bo and he wants to coach in the MNC game then I would guess it will be one of the assistants (probably Watson if you believe what you read on the boards). I really dont get everyones infatuation with Watson. What has he done to prove anything to anybody. On most of the other boards I go to, the CU fans that have been heckling us and thanking us for taking Watson and Gilmore. Kind of like the Wisconsin fans and Raider fans. Oh well the experiment is almost over.

whoa, whoa, whoa big boy. if you watched the KU game yesterday you saw one of the best coached teams in college football. their talent is slightly better than average, at best, but all their position coaches are outstanding. Mangino has surrounded himself with great teachers/motivators of the game and he should be commended for it too. even if they don't win out, i would nominate Mangino for coach of the year and cally for loser of the year. Let me know when Kansas plays someone with a defense or a team that is in the top 50 then maybe I'll give Mangino credit and Mangino like the media seemed to be doing all Saturday. So you are saying that KU isn't really that good? Then I guess losing to them by so much makes us really suck? Well then I would say that means BC is a worse coach then I thought ( and I didn't think much of him to begin with) so he really needs to go. BC is a terrible coach and we need to say this experiment was a failure and let him go be a coach somewhere else.
