  1. I'd like to keep it in one venue every year kind of like what the SEC's done with Atlanta. It's predictable for fans across the country and drives those mottos we enjoy hearing every year. Which would motivate your Huskers more? "CHICAGO OR DIE" or "EARN THE RIGHT TO STAY AND PLAY IN LINCOLN OR TO TRAVEL TO THE CROSS CONFERENCE DIVISIONAL CHAMPION'S HOME FIELD"? I think they should talk about home field. Imagine having to play at the other guys house or at your house. THAT is a true home field in early DEC...
  2. Remember when the Big 12 said that all CCG's would be in Texas at the very beginning and we put a bid in for it with a guarantee of a sellout? Husker fans would take ANY additional tickets if they rotated. Soldier Field, Ann Arbor, Ohio State, PSU, Lincoln..... Soldier field would be cool. What I meant about extra tix was when the game was in Lincoln(of course) Home field would be cool. Guaranteed sellout....
  3. I like that. Too bad T.O. didn't negotiate that.
  4. Where the hell would they play it in Lincoln? I hear it's a real nice place. Nice people. And they have this thing called a Runza. Seriously dude, turn on your sarcasm detector. I don't have one...can I buy it at Best Buy or as an App for my phone? Do they have Best Buy stores in Kansas? Nah but if I drive to Topeka I can check out a catalog from the post office that will let me order through the mail. I should get one of these "detectors" in time for next season. Stay west of Topeka Blvd. I am amazed at how much violence and crime there is in Topeka, Wichita and the greater Manhattan area. What is it about Kansas that drives people crazy, geez. I heard Wichita is full of gang stuff for some reason. Crazy... I have NEVER felt unsafe in Lincoln. Even at 27th and Vine to Superior area.... NEVER. Course I always look poor as hell.
  5. Congrats. I will never root for Whisky unless it is to make em strong for a husker beatdown!!!!! If you're going to be negative don't sugar coat it, and I have no idea why you posted that here but I guess I'm open season in whatever thread I post in. Good to know. I was congratulating you on the win. It was right after the penalty.... Oh ok sorry, for some reason I'm still in a pissy mood after that 1st half. Winning didn't help. I misread the part when you said you'd never root for us as in you'd root for Oregon in the Rose. I appreciate it then. I will ALWAYS root for Wisky in the out of conference games. They should have beat TCU last year. You guys were way better. I hope we whoop you guys next year, though.

  8. Husker fans do not like "the ol' ball coach". Nothing personal but if you go to the game, expect to see the signs!! I can't dislike someone we beat 62-24. I can. Loved it when they were backed up against their own goal line in that game. That was as cool as "the run"

If you're going to be negative don't sugar coat it, and I have no idea why you posted that here but I guess I'm open season in whatever thread I post in. Good to know. Wasn't being negative. We rooted for Oklahoma to be strong when I was a kid. Same goes with all the B1G schools. Rather play a 12-0 Wisc team in CCG is skers are 11-1 than a 10-2 team. Just a fact of my rooting interests. GBR!!!! Love seeing you on the board.
  10. Michigan State may drop below TCU, Georgia may drop below TCU (i doubt it) but OK will NOT drop below TCU. Even with 3 losses. Clemson jumps TCU but not Michigan. Michigan goes to the Sugar. I wish we were going..... Another scenario.... Maybe both TCU and Michigan go leaving KSU outside looking in. Maybe Georgia, Michigan State and Oklahoma all drop enough for TCU to pass em... I just don't think OK will drop enough since Clemson will probably jump TCU....

  14. I'm hoping you're kidding because there is basically no chance we're lower than the #4 team chosen out of the B1G. Even if Michigan doesn't make a BCS bowl and the CCG loser is picked ahead of us (which I doubt), there's no way anyone picks a Penn St. team we beat ahead of us. Edit: OK. Maybe I missed this a little. I thought the Gator Bowl had the #4 pick but does it alternate with the Insight Bowl? Even then, I think we'll be the #3 team which would be Capital One or Outback depending on if Michigan gets into the BCS. Insight has #4 pick, but it's looking more and more likely that Michigan is not getting a BCS at-large spot. Plus, aren't the bowl slots assigned by the Big 10 office--I thought that was one of the differences in that the Big 10 brokered the bowl destinations and told the teams where to go. And as much as I despite the pointy-uterused whore vermin of Austin and their ilk, I don't want to play them, weak or no--I'd rather play a SEC team that will be a challenge so it will help our team get better. Beating a woefully inadequate and incompetent Texas team would do nothing to help our team... Agree. Playing a tough GA team is way better than a woeful TX team that can find its way out of a wet paper bag. They are one play from 6-6 (TAMU)and 2 plays from 5-7(BYU) Mack Brown may be gone by this time next year.(no more assistants to fire like Callahan did)
  15. Neither team has beaten a ranked opponent.... They are both sorry. I don't think WVU will jump em but TCU is overrated right now IMO.

TCU not strong IMO
  17. Another possibility is if MSU stays in the top 14, they go. It will be another B1G school in my opinion. I think we would beat them in succession, though.....
  18. Cause South Fla is way better than just about ANYONE TCU has beaten.... Boise State? Uhmmm. No. I did say "just about".....
  19. Cause South Fla is way better than just about ANYONE TCU has beaten.... Boise State? Uhmmm. No. OK. I will go with that.(on Boise) Good point, Every one except one team. Who did they beat this week? Western New Mexico State Jr. college of the blind?
  20. Cause South Fla is way better than just about ANYONE TCU has beaten....
  21. Okie state is a mile and a half behind with only a furlong to go. No chance even if it is 70-3.... JMO IDK about that, they are # 5 in the coaches poll behind a VT team that is getting taken behind the woodshed and a Stanford team that is done playing. I can see them getting up to # 3 and the computers love oSu (they had them # 1 all year until they lost to ISU) so it's not inconceivable that oSu could change enough minds to make it close. But it's reasons like this that make it imperative that we get a playoff. The "perception" part needs to be taken out. I love the BCS. Playoff every week. You win and you have NOTHING to CRY ABOUT. Watch Gundy cry like a little girl about how they "deserve it"
  22. VaTech will not drop under Michigan. I don't think Oklahoma will either. If OK does, it will be barely below.(1 spot) I doubt that, though. I think Michigan sneaks in.
  23. I think they will sneak in since GA and Wisky will drop ever so slightly. We'll see......
