    What if we just busted out the black helmets again, but left the rest of the alternates at home? Red pants, white jersey, black helmet could look pretty snazzy....Then again, that just does not sound like Nebraska. Thoughts?

    Didn't somebody say that they didn't get the alternates after the Wisconsin game because there was a chance of wearing them again for the CCG or the bowl game? I'm too lazy to look back, but I'm pretty sure it was in this thread.

    My fiance and I are going.....and we'll be sitting in the student section. I'm a little nervous about it, especially since its my first away game, but I'll still be wearing my red proudly.

    This is so true. Seems like our receivers were always dropping catchable balls last couple of years. This year they're money. Way to jinx us...

    I remember watching Friday Night Lights (the tv show) and thinking how unrealistic it was that they won in some crazy comeback week after week after week. I'm not sure if the Huskers are making FNL look more realistic, or if FNL is making the Huskers look more like a tv show....

    My fiance's from the Quad Cities (about 50 minutes east of Iowa City) so we'll be there for Thanksgiving then driving to Iowa City for the game on Friday. If you're willing to drive a bit past Iowa City, The Quad Cities are right on I-80 and I'm sure hotels will be much cheaper there.

    The odd thing is Bo didn't even seem to yell at Bell the way he's yelled at guys in the past. It looked like he just said something quick and the Bell flipped out and Pelini just kind of ignored it. I honestly can't decide if it was just Bell being an idiot or if Pelini really is losing this team. Probably a combination of the two....

    This really does feel like last year. Martinez is the only one out there playing with any heart and he's single-handedly keeping us in this. Anybody who's trashing him can go take a long walk off a short pier.
