First Half Observations:
Nebraska QB play has vastly improved from the last four years.
Great passing concepts from Whipple.
Unfortunately, Nebraska's offensive line still can't get a consistent push and get 1 or 2 yards when they need it!
Nebraska's defense pretty much played an odd-front with lineman covering the center, and then the rest of the line would do a late shift before the snap - it wasn't working that well.
If Nebraska can't run the ball it's going to be a LONG season...again.
Things I would like to see in the 2nd half:
Stick with the passing game. Mix in the crossing routes, and comeback routes with some concepts designed for the Tight End.
More play-action screens similar to the first play of the game to Palmer.
Defensively, change the front up to a more 4-3 hybrid instead of the 3-4 odd stack.
Keep your poise through the adversity.
Final Prediction: If Nebraska loses this game I don't think it projects well for Scott Frost keeping his job.
