I like and respect the Buckeyes more than Wisconsin, I really did not like the Wisconsin chant at the end of the game mocking the Huskers --- that really was bush league. So... I like OSU better than Wisconsisn by a great deal. Buckeye fans seem to be great sports and know how to deal with success (and struggling to regain success). Wisconsin fans do not know how to deal with what modest success that they have had. So... I prefer OSU a great deal.
That said, I'd love to see the Huskers play and beat Wisconsin. That said, if Wisconsin does not even get there, then that is even better. So... bring on the Buckeyes, they are a class opponent and playing them again would be great.
Buckeye fans are often touted as some of the worst in college football. It's a matter of experience, of course, but it seems to pop up far more often than good things do.
I heard a lot of T-sips complaining about how they were treated in Columbus a few years back. I was at the game and did not see any of it, but can imagine that if they were walking around campus throwing hook em horns gestures at people that they were not welcomed very well. Hand gestures seem to be popular in Texas (hook em horns, gig em aggies, get yur guns or whatever that thing is that Texas Tech does), but they are not popular in the Big Ten, so you might as well be flipping someone off.
I am sure each school has it's share of poor sports. There are plenty of bad Buckeye fans, but many more of us that are good sports and enjoy the competition and open discussions.
