Do they measure 10 yd dashes at the combine? If not, they should. The 40 time is meaningless for OL, and really for interior DL guys as well. They don't run a seperate 10 yard dash. They take a 10 yard split on their 40. But they don't post that on their web sit for some reason.

This is kind of why I'm in a believe-it-when-I-see-it about our running game. Cav has said repeatedly that he doesn't like to rotate. Now Riley said they've "talk"ed about it more in the last year "might get to a point" where they rotate more. If that's not coach speak for saying whatever he thinks the interviewer wants to hear, I don't know what is. Riley seems to be good with the media. But most of what we get is pretty blah. There seems to be a disconnect between what he says and what actually happens. Perhaps that will change going forward. But for now it seems like it's just his way of having to avoid giving a real answer. Or an answer that he doesn't think people will like.

Yeah, I'm not buying this. It might - might - be true that we have more talent at the 1-3 spots ... at least than we've had in 20 years. But to say that about the whole team you're completely ignoring our lack of even a below-average 5 and any sort of a true 4. But if Miles finishes sub-.500 with the most talent we've ever had, why would he not be fired?
