Sounds like Darlington and Bush have been getting very few reps in team periods. TA got almost all the reps with Fyfe getting a couple snaps here and there.
Bone bruises are painful but usually fully heal with time. Hopefully he can return soon for conditioning reasons.
Yeah, it doesn't sound like anyone is worried about him being out long term. But for a guy who's had conditioning issues in the past, this can't help.
I hadn't thought about that until you mentioned it. I haven't seen him mentioned at all.
Of course, the only one I had seen mentioned was Carter until tonight when Trey Foster got a nod for a nice catch.
Actually doesn't sound like VV has practiced much if at all through four practices. Still not sounding as if it's serious but not getting much work in.
Sounds like the defense totally shut down the offense during most of the scrimmage portion of practice. Doesn't sound like the offense could do much if anything for the last 45 minutes of practice. In particular, Collins sounds like he almost single-handedly blew up a bunch of plays, especially third-and-long type situations.
Several more nods to Stanley Morgan.
Haven't seen much as far as which receivers are working with the 1s, 2s, etc. Reilly, DPE and Turner seem to be the 1s but Morgan gets a lot more mentions than anyone after those three. That might have something to do with being a new guy but it sure sounds like he'd be in the #2 group as of now.
Apparently McMullen reported for camp at 308 pounds. He's listed at 280 on the roster. Safe to say he needs to drop a couple (dozen) in the next couple weeks.
Apparently Christian Bailey replaced an injured Sam Burtch on the 105 man roster. Unsure of the injury - probably won't find out much until Riley talks on Tuesday.
Man, JRose just can't seem to get over the hump and take the next step. But look at that, got 2 sophs, 1 RSFr and 1 TrFr in the top 6...
Yeah, it just doesn't seem like it's going to happen for him at this point.
Rose-Ivey, Bando and Newby getting most of the first team reps. Dedrick Young, Luke Gifford and Garrett Poppen look to be the #2s so far, though Young is close to Newby. Gifford said to be looking pretty good after switching from Safety - as you may expect he handles coverages well. Might be an interesting option on passing downs.
Davie and Kalu look to be in the starter spots. Mosley and Chris Jones getting most of the #2 looks while Eric Lee and Jonathan Rose seem to be the #3 guys.
