I want to see Nu paired up vs a big 12 school....funny to see Texas beat Nu again... was hoping to see a KSU nu bowl, watch Klein beat the huskers, but we are just too good this year to drop down to a Husker - level bowl.

Husker from Kansas...love the Pitt State logo...got a freshman there this year! the Snyder coaching tree is remarkable Mangino, Stoops x2, Bilema at Wisky, Patterson at TCU, Leavitt from USF, and Venebles from OU, who I think is a logical replacement for when he retires again. KSU fans LOVE Venebles, and he still comes to Manhattan to visit with Snyder. the hate between KSU and NU is an obvious respect issue. NU did not like KSu becomeing a power, and beating them after 30 years of doormat status, and KSU did not like the little brother treatment recieved from NU.... I hope to see a NU / KSU bowl match up, and I will bet the farm on KSU and Collin Klien, the TRUE Heisman candidate this year....

preseason polls are based on last year/returning players/ and name recognition. that is the ONLY reason NU started so high in the polls. as the season plays out, you have 5 teams that started near the top, still there. several teams that were mid pack, moved up, and a few like Kansas State that were not even mentioned are up at the top. the amount of 5 star recruits going to SEC teams and Texas makes a person think that they should be in the top 5 every year, yet Mack Brown proves that all that talent is nothing with out a coach. then you take KSU, who has no name players, transferes and kids everyone else passed on, and Snyder gets them to believe in the system, follow his approach of getting better each week, correcting mistakes and doing your job. the OU blow out was a combination of OU getting a redemption for the TT let down, and KSU having a string of emotional wins...those kids were just played out! and OU has a plethera of talented kids.... point is, if NU hired Snyder, and not Bo, Nu would have a title by now. FACT. Snyder gets kids to produce. Bo don't .

I find it funny, when I read other teams pages they all say "stop blaming the refs, or go be a husker fan" NU fans are getting a rep as pathetic cry babies who blame losses on everything but the place it belongs. coaches and players.

all valid points boys. let's look at it properly. LOWLY Iowa State....the same LOWLY team that beat NU ? ISU is a team that is on the rise, NU should be glad to NOT be playing them each year... Bill Snyder does more with walk ons, JuCo's, and kids every one else passed over than Mack Brown, Bo, or any other coach except SEC coaches.... NU is getting the fist in the mouth from the Big Ten on purpose, they want to say "welcome to big ten football" my question is this : Is this a down year, and average year, or the best we have ?? if the best, Bo must go. average, Bo needs new assistants, a down year, and Dr.Tom better take over recruiting...... we need to get rid od matt ddavison on the radio, he is a pig. he disgusts me. is that what we want representing NU ??
