Knapp removed all the fun stuff before I could see it, dang it. He does a good job. Seriously, though, I lurk many boards, and this is among the most level-headed and welcoming college football boards that exist. Many of the look-a-like threads are interwebz classics. Visitors, just have fun here. These are good folks. -
Wonder if we were in school at the same time, when I was at WP we beat Navy 3 out of 4. Better watch out, Army found the right coach. Class of 88 here. Army has indeed found the right coach, IMO.

Hmmm...Army looked a bit better this year than recent history. Navy looked a bit worse. Navy better get it together for next year. When I attended Navy, I think Army beat us 3 out of 4. It would not be acceptable to regress back to that level. It is very fun to see those option running teams slug it out, isn't it? By the way, fellow Huskers, Navy damn near beat South Carolina this year....

I've been a fan of the Gamecocks for years. Don't misunderstand, I was born and raised in Nebraska. No doubt who'll I root for. But, in 1984, I was a plebe at the US Naval Academy. If the Mids win, it's a good weekend for the plebes. If we lose, not so good. That weekend, Nebraska was gunning for a championship game, but lost to OU. South Carolina had the chance to make the run. Just had to beat Navy. Navy whooped 'em. So I have fond memories of South Carolina. I didn't get hazed at all that weekend.
