Shavers & Tarver Jr also apparently enrolling early
Per what someone said earlier Koch & Ruggeroli are not on scholarship.
Taylor is also an NIL guy.

Lloyd/Coleman have loads of potential. But, we need some established production. There’s your two WRs last year who really flashed anything.

I would like this section to be kept for transfers that we have offered and there's interest from both sides.
Concur. Seems to be best kept in the “Football recruiting” sub thread for the transfer portal.

Yup. Here is the "experience" that we return at WR for 2024:
IGC 48 career receptions (44 of those were at NM St in 2020-21, and I assume he is coming back, but who knows)
Bullock 15 career receptions
Coleman 8 career receptions
Lloyd 6 career receptions
Doss 2 career receptions
IGC sucks. Bullock sucks. It’s pretty much resting in the potential of Coleman & Lloyd.

I can tell, because you're not making sense
At some point you have to realize you’re arguing over opinions on a husker football message board and no matter what gets posted on here the odds of actually changing another grown man/woman’s opinion are next to 0.

What are you even trying to argue here?
At this point I’m just kinda shooting the s#!t. No pun intended.

And what exactly do you think a long rifle is going to do for you if the might of the US army was knocking at your door?
Literally every event you listed is because we've elected s#!tty people. It would seem the more appropriate action would be to educate ourselves and elect intelligent well meaning people to lead us.
Man I must be kind of a badass if the US army is coming to look for me.
yes, s#!tty people get elected all the time. At every level. This is why I used the donald example. He has been called a dictator, a threat to American democracy, and accused of using the MAGA minions to do his bidding for him. Yet he still beat Hilary. Yet he still may beat biden.
it has also occurred to me I’m arguing political opinions on a husker football forum. What a time to be alive.

But EVERY gun owner with kids says this. But we still have kids that get killed by guns at home. Right? Of course.
The idea that they won't have "curiosity" is crazy. Of course they will.
I did not bring up McDonald's, you did, so I was just using your comparison.
Hey let me ask you this, when you were a kid, did you do EVERYTHING your parents told you? Did you ever once not listen to them?
Also, don't have kids, it is annoying, enjoy your freedom. And I am just messing around with you, we both know guns are dumb, we just look at it differently.
This doesn’t guarantee a 0.00% chance I agree. But I believe it decreases the likelihood in educating society & its members about proper handling of firearms. Same as I had to as a kid taking hunters safety & learning from my father.

Perhaps a gun that comes from a Mcdonald's happy meal???
I would go to McDonald’s a lot more than once a year if that were true!

This is probably the worst take of gun nuts, and there are a lot of bad takes.
I wouldn’t call myself a gun nut. I have two. I just believe there are as many foes here domestically as foreign. I’m sure the same United States government that killed entire tribes of people on its way to manifest destiny, bombed brown people in the Middle East into oblivion, locked Japanese Americans into internment camps, orchestrated the sacking of an all black Oklahoman town, & used the 9/11 tragedy as a way to power grab their way into spying on everyday Americans would never misuse their power. Hell most of the same people posting in here call that douche trump a dictator. Guess he may not be as much of a threat to democracy as everyone says.

So what you are saying is we should get rid of handguns? Agreed. Good point.
18,761 is a lot, like, a real big number of gun deaths. I would be okay with getting rid of McDonalds (and I LOVE McDonalds), if you are okay with getting rid of guns, not even all guns, you can still own a musket, would you be okay with that?
The reason that any hostile forces ever "do anything" is because they have guns...if they did not have them, well...they would not be able to be so hostile, right?
Let me ask you this....if you have kids (if not, just pretend), if you have say...a 10 year old...would you rather they play in the backyard with their friends and some loaded guns OR would you rather they eat McDonalds. You have to pick one.
I don’t believe in banning any guns. I think firearm safety classes should be mandatory at schools K-12 and everyone who has guns should take a firearm safety class, hunters safety, & properly lock and store their firearms separate from ammo. If I ever have children they will be instructed and well versed about guns so they will not have the curiosity to play with firearms at a friends house.
Those who wish to harm you do not play by rules, morals, or code. There is nothing fair here.
This is such a specific question it is erroneous. But please reference paragraph one. Any guns come out at a friends and you remove yourself and let me know.

But you would be okay with muskets only, right?
Like, if it meant less gun deaths, less kids shooting themselves or their friends by accident, you would be okay with muskets only.
No. The greatest amounts of deaths via gun violence by far and away are suicide. Followed by homicides using pistols. Rifles are FAR below these.
Both gun violence & overall homicide rates have actually fallen the last two years down to 18,761 (excluding suicides) Out of a country of 331 million. You are more likely to die from McDonald’s and your routine ride to work.
Guns particularly rifles are once again a deterrent to a hostile force both domestic and abroad. Go ask the victims of the nazis, the communists, the Middle East, etc. I will take my chances.

Why is it that we just get 2 of the most accurate passers in NU fb history and we need tall receivers to even have a chance for a competition. ?
There are plenty of good / capable pass catchers already on the team. Adding another one or two seems like overkill. I choose speed anytime.
Id take another DL or two and or DE types. Add a couple LBs. We have about 18 DBs too. Couple of those can move to WR if desperate.
Did you watch any games? Our WR core was terrible. We have not one proven WR.

So, muskets! Problem solved. Why would you be against that?
That extends to the current. It does not entail just muskets.

I know, you are lucky I am giving you that much.
No one needs a gun. The second amendment was written when we used muskets. So, there you go, you can own a musket. How is that anything other than fair?
Because at the time of crafting the people were gifted the same luxury of hand held armaments as their foes. Both domestic and abroad.

The "Red flag" is that people think they need to own a gun for anything other than hunting.
Hunting has nothing to do with the second amendment.

He has officially set up a visit for the weekend of Jan. 5th. I like his productivity while at Wake Forest. Still question as to why Julian Fleming hasn't pulled the plug on his recruiting. It appears that Penn State is the leader but we all have seen crazy things happen in recruiting so until he does pull the trigger then Nebraska still has a chance.
Fleming has already committed to PSU. He just hasn’t put it into the public space.

Yep, spot on,
2022: 42/636/9--Had Sam Hartman at QB who is a darn good college QB
2023: 59/653/4--WF had a big step back with Griffis at QB, probably the reason Banks is in the portal.
Banks would be an awesome pickup for NU, he's that big body 50/50 ball winner with good speed to boot WR that Nebraska has lacked for a while. Basically, Banks is what we all hoped Omar Manning would be.
My god don’t remind me of that one. Talk about look like Tarzan play like Jane. Or maybe practices like Jane.
