The team played well, but I'm worried about two things. First and most obvious, the run defense. Second, the continued unwillingness to put in the back up QB. Taylor played a great game... but that last drive he was in on, should absolutely have been Kellogg's drive. Sure Ron got in the next drive so he could hand off 5 times to Cross... But he needs real playing time to develop as a competent backup. It scares me just how much we rely on Taylor staying healthy.

Stupid penalties and offensive line play

GM Plant = Show me where Ryan said it happened under Obama's watch. All he said was that if the government comes in and supports the plant it will stay open. The government did....and it didn't stay open. If it was closed before the bailout... how could the bailout have saved it?

I don't really see how we'd be a flop, given where we are ranked and her expectation of us losing 3 to 4 games. I agree, we'll probably lose 3 games, and end up ranked in the 15-20 area. Not really a flop from most preseason expectations.

I've always been a little surprised that they didn't build that north end zone up a little more back in 2004 or whenever that was.

True, but if the guy is better as a WR than as a S, you want to get him in his best/most natural position, I believe. Not if he's never going to see the field. Who's to say he's never going to see the field? He could turn out to be the best of the bunch.
