Welp, it's halftime and we ain't losing and we didn't turn the ball over in the first half.

There's been a lack of stupid plays by Nebraska. I appreciate that people have not been making dumb plays nearly as much as we have seen in the past.

It's good to know this program is moving in the right direction. It's good to see issues being resolved or at least improvements so that they're not as bad as they were in previous weeks. As I write this, Colorado has just tied Colorado State with 32 seconds left to go in the game. It seems to me they spent a great deal of time patting themselves on the back after their win against us. I really hope this team doesn't fall into the same pit. This team has a work ethic and I appreciate that because I realize they're trusting the process. Anytime we see improvement from the previous week it's cause for hope. Somebody told me that hope is dangerous and they're right. We've been let down before. But I genuinely believe we are going in the right direction and we will see more wins this season.

We won! We can honestly say this program is moving in the right direction.

Ever notice how much coach Rhule looks like the bad guy from Nefarious? Sometimes he even talks like him. The tongue and the blinking eyes...

I dearly love watching this team improve and I love watching things come together. We might actually win this game. Maybe. I mean there's another quarter left so they could still lose it but we might actually be able to risk having hope.

Somebody needs to teach him to slide.

Wait...but what if their guy is more open?

I'm not saying reward him. But unless somebody has a better QB in their back pocket then we need to actually fix the problem and coach him. Do you have a better solution? Because we've got a game next week.

Jeff Simmmmmmmssz is all we have right now. Sure, not the best choice, but he's what we got. Maybe he can be coached, maybe he can't. But it's not like we can go out and get a new QB tomorrow.

There was a South Park episode where Cartman came in and ate all the skin off the fried chicken while the rest of the boys were doing something. When they came back, Kenny just broke down sobbing. I feel that way after every game now.

We showed so many bright spots in this game. We had improvement in so many areas, too. But the mistakes in crucial moments once again hurt us. I can honestly say I'm walking away with mixed feelings here. We did so much better in this game but the results were still dismal for all the same reasons.

Every team we play has the exact same game plan: Wait until we shoot ourselves in the foot and then capitalize. Every time, that's all they have to do. Just wait for us to screw up.

You just can't have this many turnovers and win. Period. Everybody knows it. Let's hope the backup QB knows enough not to turn the ball over like this.

This game needs some groovy bass music from the 70's to go along with the um... "love" Sanders is getting from the announcers.

Yes, they are! They know they can't roll over this team and it bothers them. Plus, our D is what they claimed to be.

If this team believes it to be cursed, then it is. If they believe they have bad luck, then they do. The one thing Dion Sanders did for CU was make them believe. We need to believe. We need to know, without a doubt, that we are winners and can do this.
