  1. Jeez, sorry to start a circular firing squad, guys. I came over here as a Badger fan trying to pay you a little compliment on what I perceived as a much better team than what Pelini ever put on the field against us. A lot of Wisconsin fans are saying the same thing. I'll just go away and let you yell at each other for how far you've sunk this year, being 7-1, still ranked in the top 10, and controlling your destiny in the division and all.
  2. A great line from a post-game column here in Madison: Oates I have to admit I thought hiring Riley was a head-scratcher, but the Nebraska team this year is much improved over what the Badgers have seen recently. A little better passing from your QB position, and you would be even stronger. Good luck the rest of the way.
  3. I would just say this: Don't over react Husker fans. You have a good coach and a good program. Our Badgers spent two weeks playing it as close to the vest as you can. It cost us two losses in OT, but meant nothing in the big picture, and the Nebraska coaches had NO film to suggest what Bielema pulled out yesterday. It was a classic bait and switch. So did Pelini get outcoached ? Yeah, probably, but it happens. It happens to all coaches. In the last couple of weeks, I've watched games where I had no rooting interest, games with nationally recognized teams. And I've seen coaches do some really bone-headed moves. And I've thought, "Maybe our bone-headed coach (Bielema) is about the same as those bone-headed coaches." You win, your coach is a genius. You lose, he's an idiot. Those last two sentences are false.
  4. Well then, Monsignor, if we are only going to look at it from a "whether it cost us the game" perspective, then Kenny Bell should have finished his unfortunate victim off with a stomp. After all, it wouldn't have changed the outcome of the game...right?... Now if you have anything to add about the specific play and the resulting call, take time out from your trolling and contribute. Otherwise, go back under your bridge and wait for either the Biggest Bill Goat Gruff or Kenny Bell to show up knock you into the river. A little sensitive Bowfin? I made my comment on the play. I thought it was a legal hit and the penalty call was wrong. Did you read that? I also commented on the irony that one play in this game is now a two page thread. Hmmm ... Good luck in Orlando; I'll be rooting for you.
  5. It was a great block and a BS call. Probably cost you the game.
