I'd be happy going to the CCG, but I'd be satisfied by winning it. If we lost after that we'd most likely be losing to a team way better than us so whatever. I should mention I was born in '92.

I remember reading an article about him breaking all the Illinois HS state records 2 years before he started and proceeded to tell everyone how bomb he was going to be. So glad I wasn't wrong.

But what if the mississippi teams go to the egg bowl with no losses? then there will be a 1 loss mississippi team that didnt go to the CCG. and then if that team in the CCG loses to the east team we will be in terrible shape.

Who needs depth when you have Westerkamp? But seriously, we also have DPE, who can obviously catch the ball, run vertically, and make plays when it counts.

This is what I see happening: I find it hard to believe that the committee will leave out a 13-1 B1G champ in favor of an SEC team that didn't even go to the SEC CCG (so one of the mississipi teams). Remember that the conference championships are a factor in the selection process. FSU will not survive this season undefeated. They will probably lose to ND, but then ND will have a legit shot to get in unless they lose to USC or ASU. NW beating ND would help us tremendously. PAC12 champ gets in SEC champ gets in big XII "champ" probably gets in, hopefully baylor wins out. then its between ND, B1G, ACC, and another SEC team. IMO any B1G team that runs the table and goes 13-1 with a championship can only be left out for an undefeated ND or maybe 1-loss FSU champion, unless by some miracle your name is minnesota. The OSU MSU showdown will hopefully be against two top 10 teams which gives the winner a big boost and would give us a big boost assuming we won the CCG. Still a LOT of football to be played though.

No offense to GA fans, but I'd much rather play the PAC-12 like we currently are doing. Its a much better match up for us and our whole conference the way CFB is right now.

Our offense is going to be breaking school records left and right, but the defense is going to be breaking the bad ones.

This x100. Hopefully people will not confuse an easier schedule with our program improving or heading in the right direction. Tough to dismiss a coach who wins 9 games. Tough to see marked improvement within four years if we were to change coaches. Basically Husker football is f'd for the foreseeable future. We've got more embarrassments to endure and there isn't too much anyone is going to do about it. God I hate being an insignificant mediocre program. Wanna know why so many of us live on the past, on TO's coat tails? Because for 25 years + we never once had to endure the level of embarrassment that seems to now be a two or three times per season standard. I feel sorry for those who only know NU football post Solich. That would be me. and 2 words for 2013, JORDAN WESTERKAMP!
