  1. Radio interview.... http://www.yahoospor...kong-suh-45464/ Mentions that Nebraska is coming after him really hard. Baby Suh! Also mentions that he will take all 5 of his official visits when that time comes.
  2. The data above is old. Here is the more accurate data...http://www.ncsasports.org/football-recruiting/ca/san-clemente/san-clemente-high-school/christian-bailey4
  3. They could have completed that pass. They could have got the ball across the end zone. They could have intercepted that pas. Could, could, could...blah...blah....blah. Wins are wins and losses are losses. The record books do not track could haves. Out of our 800+ wins, how many of them could have been a loss? Out of the losses in our program's history, how many could have been wins? See how that "could have" doesn't work when evaluating historic information? If you want to debate the ways any random game could have, that is an entire different discussion.
  4. They are the flavor right now. Really kind of shows how far we've fallen perception-wise that a Kansas kid is, at best, lukewarm on NU. It's more than just the feelings of the prospect in this recruitment's case. What? I will send a PM later tonight.

  6. Was given a 5.5 rating on Rivals today.
  7. See post above (post #4)......showing we are near the top, but the elite of the top have separated themselves from the rest. Those are the teams we need to surpass to get back to the very top.
  8. As you can see there is a big gap between the top two teams and the rest of the country. Still a long ways to go to get back to the top.
  9. The data was posted on another website. It is very interesting data and wanted to share it here as well. Credit for the data goes to the poster on the other website. 1 Alabama (61-7) 2 Oregon (56-10) 3t Florida (52-15) 3t Oklahoma (52-15) 5t Ohio State (51-13) 5t Louisiana State (51-15) 7 Oklahoma State (49-16) 8 Virginia Tech (49-19) 9t Stanford (48-17) 9t Nebraska (48-20) 11t Texas (47-18) 11t Cincinnati (47-18) 13 Southern Cal (46-18)
  10. Just wondering, do you know if they allow the other people that come visit with the prospect see practices? I know he came with a couple of his friends.
  11. that's a HS kid? I guess I can see where Hedley was coming from now... Because its not possible for him to built like that naturally or off of legal supplements? I just can't wait to see what we can produce, on both sides of the ball come fall. Alonzo Moore and Westerkamp should be quite impressive, and as for the DL, I think it could become a solid position. With Nickens, or one of the incoming freshman, we should be much better than last year. LB crew, I think talent will over due the lack of experience. We just need to let our secondary do its job, rather than doing their job, while being accountable for the run, like last year. Had we had an average DL and LB crew, we would have seen a stiffer secondary defense, and more INT's. I think average is all we need, and I do believe we will be above that. Top 10, maybe not, but I do believe top 30, if not 25 rush defense. Top 30 in overall defense? I would take that in a heart beat. My hope is a top 40 defense. If they can accomplish that with as much youth and experience that would be back for the 2014 season, the defense should be trending up. But it is way to early to look at that way as we need to see what the new guys can get done and how much they improve throughout the season.
  12. They just won 9 games, 8 the season before, 5 the one before that. How are they going in the wrong direction? They are back to where we are...with a much higher ceiling. And they only got blown out once in 2012. I guess we've closed the gap on them the last few years - but that does nothing to make up for how much they widened the gap over the previous 6-7. Depends on how they do this season. If they have a bad season Mack Brown is good as gone. He is under a ton of heat....a lot more than Bo is here. A lot of Texas fans and boosters were not happy with their last recruiting class.
  13. He is a Texas A&M, TCU and Notre Dame lean right now. He just took trips to Notre Dame, Michigan, and Ohio State. Doubtful Nebraska will be one of the official visits, and doubtful for Ohio State as well. This summer he is taking trips to see some of the SEC campuses. So expect to see more changes on his list over the summer.
  14. Why would you want to stop watching college football if Alabama wins again? They will eventually fade back. It happens to every program. It happened to Florida State after 14 seasons. It happened to us after, like, forever. Well, this is technically the third slump going back to 1918. The war years spanned into more than two periods of decades and had some of the lowest winning percentage coaches ever for the program. That just shows how bad the Callahan seasons were as he almost dipped to that level. After every dip we returned back to elite status.

  16. I'm encouraged to see Oregon in his early top five list, as this demonstrates his willingness to look outside of southern conferences (ACC and SEC). He just received his offer from Nebraska, so we will have to what to see how much of an impact the coaches can have on his decision. Agreed. That is what I noticed as well and took it as a good sign.
  17. Josh Allen ‏@joshallen555h Got offered by Nebraska today! #blessed
  18. #22 is a bad man. That type of competitiveness is awesome to see. I am surprised LSU doesn't have that large, thick 330 or 350 pound DT on their roster this spring. The largest guy they have is 310 pounds. Number 9 is a large DE at 283 pounds, but as you could see in the film he is not in good cardio shape.
  19. 6.28 is the world record for the 60 meter dash. Someone know how to convert the 60 meter to 40 yard dash?
  20. Gerry is ready to see the field as a true freshman body wise.....ran the 60 meter dash with a time of 6.94
