  1. I don't think it has much to do with our depth or lack of guaranteed playing time. Half or more of the teams in his top 16 have as good or arguably better LB's on their roster. His picks look more based on location other than Michigan. Exactly. He's not leaving CA Only 3 of his 16 are in CA. Unless you meant the West Coast, but that only includes 7 schools (Arizona St, Cal, UCLA, USC, Oregon, and Oregon St). With 9 of his 16 far away from the West Coast, I would say he is willing to move. He does have family in Georgia, so that could explain another 6 picks (Clemson, Georgia, Florida, Miami, Ole Miss, and Tenn). But if he wants to be near family, why pick Michigan, Oklahoma, or Oklahoma St? I think we just did not do enough to bring this kid in. Or maybe he just wasn't that interested I like the 'glass half full' thinking. +1

  3. Player: Ray Raulerson Hometown: Tampa, FL School: Plant Position: Offensive Tackle Height: 6'5" Weight: 271 lbs 40 time: 5.02 sec Offers: Boston College, Cincinnati, UConn, Indiana, Kentucky, LA Lafayette, Louisville, Marshall, Memphis, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma St, Rutgers, South Florida, UCF, Wake Forest, West Virginia Rivals: :star 247: :star Scout: :star ESPN: :star Highlights
  4. Rivals is mentioning a potential visit. He's got a lot of interest by in-state and regional colleges. However, no offer from UVa yet (where his brother, Rijo, is a CB).
  5. His highlights are full of him pancaking guys. Best part is how hard he works even when the direction of the play is called away from him, great heart and intensity. No offer yet, but would not be surprised to see one soon. Won't it be a great thing to have our 'bigs' get push off of the O-line? How prolific could we be if we keep top notch runningbacks and add a strong front five?!
  6. I know USC & Oregon haven't offered. Do you think we have a chance? If USC offers, he is gone. If not, his top six are Cal, Arizona, Nebraska, Boise State, ASU, and Washington State (in order). I actually like our chances since we are third, and he has not visited yet. However, we need him to visit (like ADS said), and we need USC (and Oregon) not to offer.
  7. I know USC & Oregon haven't offered. Do you think we have a chance? Nope, unless he visits between now and then. Good. That means another wifi thread will go dormant. If we could get this kid to commit, I would not care who started the thread. He is one of the best cornerbacks in the country (a good cover corner and can position himself to make plays on the ball).
  8. Ewwww. Ha ha. That Bielema is a sicky. And everytime I hear his name I have to picture him in his swim trunks with his gut hanging out. Not good. It will haunt your dreams (nightmares)!
  9. I really like this kid. Eats up the run and works hard to get into the backfield for TFL. Good closing speed and tackling. It would be hard (probably impossible) to get him out of CA, but it would be a great thing to have him N.
  10. Two horse race, UCLA and USC. UCLA is leading. UCLA is picking up where they left off in Feb. They are going to be a fast, talented team in a few years when these young recruits start getting playing time.
  11. Tennessee still high on Gaulden list, and Vandy is also up there. Not sure where we stand now (though he has said before that he was establishing a good relationship with Coach TJ). Anyone else have news on this recruit as it pertains to our prospects?
  12. Top 5: Alabama (leader), Georgia, LSU, Oklahoma St, Oregon. Too bad. This kid has sick speed and great size. No evidence of his physicality on his film (but that does not mean he could not be a strong blocker). Wish we could make a play for him. This is one of the best WR we have offered this year.
  13. Thats what I was hoping for. Thank you His films show good instincts, moving the ball carriers on the perimeter (he could help in our rush defense) and making plays on the ball. However, I did not see much evidence showing he could handle the long ball. His 40 time is strong (but not elite). I actually like him in the secondary as a safety. As a WR, I could see him as a slot receiver or receiving a quick pitch out on the flat and letting him make guys miss. Again, I have not seen much film to demonstrate he could stretch the field during the deep ball.
  14. Younger brother of RB Ronnie Wingo (Arkansas). Raymond's recruiting has seemed a little quite, but he has been getting a long look by Bielema.
  15. Top 3: Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State Wants to make decision after spring ball
  16. He does not have an official top list, but he mentioned Alabama, Florida and Clemson standout. Florida has been recruiting him hard (as well as FSU).
  17. April Fool's joke on Pitt (two tweets on Bookser's twitter account): @bookser73: Just committed to the University of Pittsburgh @bookser73: April Fools
  18. Been talking with Jalyn Holmes a lot about recruiting. Both are going to Virginia Tech on Saturday. Maybe we can work at these two to visit Nebraska together.
  19. Taking a visit to Virginia Tech this Saturday then UNC.
  20. Adam Friedman ‏@Rivalsfriedman Just heard that #Nebraska offered Juwann Winfree @OnlyOne_JW http://bit.ly/17bXn1K
  21. Player: Juwann Winfree Hometown: Englewood, NJ School: Dwight Morrow Position: Wide Receiver/Cornerback Height: 6'2" Weight: 180 lbs 40 time: 4.5 sec Offers: Boston College, Cincinnati, Georgia, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nebraska, NC State, Old Dominion, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, South Carolina, Syracuse, UConn, Vanderbilt, West Virginia Twitter 247: :star :star Scout: :star Rivals: :star ESPN: :star :star Highlights
  22. Top 3: Florida St, LSU, Ohio St. I have heard LSU is the current leader. Wish we have made a play on this kid. Speed to spare.
  23. He's got no leader, says its too early and is open to new offers. Looking at depth charts, the coaching staffs, contact with coaches, and early playtime.
  24. Mustipher has been taking a number of visits to Midwest schools (Ohio St, Notre Dame, Northwestern, Michigan), but I have not heard any interest toward Nebraska. He has said he will be slow playing his recruiting process, so lots of time to get him interested. Love to see a visit set up. Seems to have Ohio St and Norte Dame as his leading two.
